In these day some videogames sites and magazine are publishing new interviews to game producers, taken at EA Showcase or E3. Thanks to SimsVip who discovered the following interviews to Mike Cox, The Sims 3 Pets producer for console version.
On the contrary of the PC version, on consoles The Sims 3 Pets will be a stand-alone game and you don't need to have The Sims 3 already. It will be available on Playstation 3, Nintendo 3DS and Xbox (with Kinect features). A version for Wii hasn't been announced yet.
